Stopping
1.
PRESS THE SAFETY SHUT OFF BAR ON THE FEED CHUTE
OR
2.
Move the Throttle Lever to IDLE.
3.
Recoil Start: Slide the GAS lever to the LEFT to shut engine off.
4.
Electric Start: Turn the Key to the OFF position.

NOTICE
Wood diameter should be no bigger than 6 inches.
WARNING
Do not place your hands into the chute when loading. This is a very UNSAFE method and
could result in injury to your hands.
Do not reach or step in front of chip chute while the Wood Chipper is running.
This is a very UNSAFE method which could cause personal injury, even death.
When Blocked
If the drum jams with wood under the drum, remove the drum shaft side shield and turn the
drum counterclockwise. It may be necessary to remove the drive belts for severe jams to
relieve resistance on the direct drive system to make the drum easier to turn and free up.
