The collar is preset to factory default to mode "1" – correction with sound only.

We recommend starting training with the collar set to this mode – audio warning signal

with no correction pulse. This way, the dog can realize the connection between the

device and its barking. The audio signals may not be enough for the dog to stop barking

at ﬁ rst, but they may help the dog understand what comes next. Using the ﬁ ne adjust-

ment trimmer, you can decrease or increase the sensitivity of the collar to vocal cords

vibrations. It is set to a medium value by factory default. By turning the trimmer anti-

clockwise, the sensitivity is decreased and by turning it clockwise, it is increased.
