TROUBLESHOOTING

CONDITION

No power

A860 always at standby mode

No audio

No sound one channel

Weak bass/diffused stereo image

POSSIBLE CAUSES

• Power cord is disconnected.

• Rear panel POWER switch not at ON setting

• TRIGGER OFF/ON/AUTO switch set to

"AUTO" position

• AC power cord unplugged or POWER switch

not at ON setting

• No input signal applied through the rear

panel INPUT terminals

• GAIN control level at minimum setting

• LOCAL/GLOBAL switch is set to LOCAL (or

GLOBAL)

• Speaker not properly connected or damaged

• Input lead disconnected or damaged

• Speakers wired out of phase

POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS

• Connect AC power cord to mains power

outlet securely

• Set the rear panel POWER switch to ON

setting

• Slide the TRIGGER OFF/ON/AUTO switch

to "OFF" position

• Connect AC power cord to mains power

outlet securely

• Set the rear panel POWER switch to ON

setting

• Check that there is active input signal

applied through the rear panel INPUT

terminals

• Adjust GAIN control level until audio is

heard.

• Set LOCAL/GLOBAL switch to corresponding

input terminal (LOCAL or GLOBAL)

• Check connections and speakers

• Check leads and connections

• Check speaker connections
