7. Confirm that the adjustment cam on the lower hinge is correctly
positioned within the slot in the front frame and rear support
bracket located directly behind the front frame. If the hinge is fully
flat against the front frame and is resting against the side trim, the
cam should be in the correct position.
8. Re-install the three torx screws in the lower hinge.
6.2.2
Aligning the Door
Smooth operation of the door requires proper alignment of the striker
and the catch receiver. When aligned correctly, the door will smoothly
pull itself closed when the striker engages the receiver.

If the door is too high, there will be interference between the striker
and a part within the catch receiver, causing the catch receiver and
striker to contact each other in a hard crash.
If the door is slightly too high, when the closed door is pushed
downward, the door will bounce against the striker.

If the door is too low, a bump will be felt when the striker comes into
contact with the re-alignment roller within the catch receiver.

Alignment Procedure
NOTICE
All adjustments to the door alignment are made to the lower
hinge only. The upper hinge is fixed and cannot be adjusted.
Each left or right ¼ turn of the alignment cam screw will
result in ~ ½ inch (1.5mm) movement at the door catch.
1. Open door to 135°.
2. Using a T-20 torx driver, loosen the three screws on the lower
hinge by one to two full turns.
3. Using a #2 Phillips-head screwdriver, turn the screw which
controls the alignment cam right or left ¼ turn (1mm).
Left-hinge Door
If the door is too low, turn the alignment screw to the right.
If the door is too high, turn the alignment screw to the left.
Right-hinge Door
If the door is too low, turn the alignment screw to the left.
If the door is too high, turn the alignment screw to the right.
