5. If the switch can't turn the scissor on or off, please don't use the scissor. It will be dangerous to control
the scissor without the switch properly. Always replace and repair the switch in this case before using the
scissors again.
6. Make sure the switch keeps the pruning shears off when you replace accessories or store the pruning
shears. Such preventive measure will reduce the risk of accidentally activating the scissors and causing
injury to the user.
7. Turn off the pruning shears if you are not going to use it and store it out of the reach of children. It is
dangerous to allow inexperienced people and untrained users to operate the pruning shears.
8. When using pruning shears, respect the tool and the specific use for which it was designed. Consider
the work environment and the tasks to be performed; It can cause risk and damage by using improperly
working pruning shears.
9. After using it, please remove the dirt on the moving blade and the supporting blade, add lubricating oil
or engine oil on the contact part, make the blade keep in good sharpness to extend its service life and to
future uses.
4.2 Battery maintenance
1. Use the battery as the only valid power source for your electric pruning shears. Do not use the
battery as a power source for any other power tool not listed.
2. Do not charge the battery in temperatures below 0ºC or above 45ºC; this can damage the battery
and charger.
3. Make sure the battery switch is off before connecting the power cable; if it is open it can create a
problem when connecting to the scissors.
4. Use only the charger assigned by the manufacturer to charge the battery; It may cause battery fire
or explosion if you use chargers with inadequate power.
5. When the battery is not in use, be sure to keep it away from metal objects such as clips, coins, keys,
screws, etc., which may shorten the battery charge or cause unintentional discharge or fire hazard.
6. Do not disassemble or reconstruct the battery.
7. Do not use damaged or short-circuited batteries.
8. Do not place the battery on hot surfaces or heat sources; or expose it to direct sunlight.
9. Do not put the battery near fire or in contact with water.
10. Do not charge the battery near fire or in direct sunlight.
11. Do not insert nails or other objects into the battery; do not hit it with hammers or trample on it, or
throw the battery on the ground in haste.
12. Do not use damaged or deformed batteries.
13. Do not solder batteries directly.
14. Do not reverse charge batteries; do not use them anti-polarly or discharge them excessively.
15. Do not connect the battery to charging sockets or car cigarette lighter sockets.
16. Do not use the battery in equipment that is not suitable or approved.
17. Do not connect several batteries in network.
18. Do not connect the battery with other lithium batteries directly.
19. Do not put the battery in containers with high temperature or high pressure, such as microwave, etc.
20. Do not use batteries that are leaking fluid.
21. Do not allow children access to the battery.
22. Do not use or place the battery directly under the influence of the sun (or in cars under direct
sunlight); it may cause overheating and cause a battery fire; or shorten its life cycle without more.
23. Do not use the battery in places with influence of static power (+64V)
24. When you use the battery for the first time, do not continue to use it and return it to your dealer if:
there is any corrosion, unpleasant odor or other strange phenomenon occurs.
25. If there is any leakage of internal battery fluid onto your skin or clothing, wash it off immediately with
plenty of water.
26. If the scissor is going to be stored for a long time, fully charge the battery before storing it.
