Piezo-electric glassbreak sensor
• NC loop type.
• Suitable for all types of glass with a thickness of up to 6 mm.
• Detection: up to 2.5 m from the point of impact.
• Operating temperature: - 18°C to + 38°C.
• Fixing method:
- stick the sensor with double-sided tape to a clean, dry window (cleaned
with a solvent) with a temperature of between + 21°C and + 38°C,
- stick it in a corner of the window 2.5 mm from the edges,
- hold it to the window for several seconds.
Large and small model waterproof pressure mats
• NO loop type.
• Minimum weight for contact closing:
- small model: 35 kg,
- large model: 40 kg.
7. Testing
The multicontact detector has a "test" mode for testing:
• the battery: the LED indicator lamp lights up when the test button is pressed to indicate the battery is working correctly,
• detection: the LED indicator lamp lights up when the contacts (built-in or external) change status,
• the radio link: see § on Checking the radio links described in the control panel manual.

To test the detector:
• connect the lithium battery pack,
• clip and screw the detector casing to its base,
• press the test button and the detector changes to test mode for about 90 sec.
After this period the detector automatically returns to normal operating mode,
• check detection of protected entrance opening and closing:
- entrance open: the test LED indicator lamp lights up,
- entrance closed: the test LED indicator lamp goes out.
IMPORTANT: in accordance with the new functional requirements of EN50131-2-6,
the LED is factory defaulted to be Inactive in Test Mode. To change this parameter,
programme:
about 10 sec.

installation mode.
IMPORTANT: if a multicontact detector monitors several entrances, test each entrance in turn. To test glassbreak detectors,
carefully tap sharply on the window using the handle of a large screwdriver to cause a small shock, 30 cm away from the
opposite corner of the sensor.
