I. Safety instructions
- Protect the device from dirt, moisture, overheating,
and extreme temperatures and only use it in dry
rooms.
- Do not open the device. Stop using the device if it
becomes damaged.
- Never use force when plugging in the device and the
adapter (if used).
- Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any
major shocks.
- When stored over a long period of time, batteries
should be charged regularly (at least every three
months).
- This product is no toy, and should not be given to
children.
- Do not connect defective devices such as USB
cables to this product.
- Take care that safety relevant components or your
view on the road do not get blocked by electronic
components.
- Always keep the road traffic regulations of the
related country in mind during use.

V. Operation
- Rotate the nut anticlockwise from the screw thread
(A).
- Push the mount through the nut (B).
- Tightly screw the nut together with the mount to the
screw thread (C).
- Strongly press to the opening button and to mount it
to the air vent (D).
- Connect the plug of the supplied cable with the
related charging connector (E).
- Connect the other side of the cable with a suitable
source of energy. Always consider the mentioned

- Press the On-/Off-button to switch on the device (G).
- Press the touch button to open the holding brackets.

- Put the smartphone on as described (I).
- Press the touch button to remove the smartphone
from the holding brackets (J).
VI. Function notes

The holding brackets will close automatically after 5
minutes in extended position (K).
VII. Troubleshooting
- The device doesn't charge properly:
• Make sure that the maximum charging distance
that is stated in the technical specifications is
not exceeded. If necessary, remove cases or
other objects from the smartphone that might
be too thick.
• Check if the operation temperature is within the
range as specified in the technical specifications.
• Restart the device in case of an error by pressing
the On-/Off button (L).
- The device charges slowly:
• Use a charger that supports fast charging like
e.g. Qualcomm Quick Charge, Power Delivery or
Samsung Adaptive Fast Charge (sold separately).
• Check if the used smartphone is compatible to
wireless fast charging.
VIII. Care and Maintenance
Only use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device.
IX. Warranty
The 4smarts GmbH assumes no liability and provides
no warranty for damage resulting from improper
installation or mounting, improper use of the product
or from failure to observe the operating instructions
and/or safety notes.
X. Disposal notification
Electric and electronic devices as well as bat-
teries must not be disposed of with household
waste. Consumers are obliged by law to return
electric and electronic devices as well as batteries at
the end of their service lives to the public collecting
points set up for this purpose or point of sale.
