Print Page14. You are now faced with the decision to fold the corners and continue stretching or
cutout the excess canvas and then stretch. Removing the excess canvas is the
recommended method and provides the best results.
Cutting Excess Canvas
1. After the first stretch, remove the artwork and lay it facedown on your work
surface as shown. Create a slight crease on the corner to define the edge.
2. Cut just inside the creased line and stop at the stretcher bar.
