Before first use
Carefully remove the tool from its packaging and check that the below
contents are included:
•
Shear with grass blades (assembled)
•
Trimming blade
•
Blade guard (for both blades)
•
Battery charger
The battery charger should be fully charged before using for the first time. The
charging time is about 3-5 hours.
Charging the battery
Check that your mains voltage is the same as that marked on the rating
plate of the battery charger.

Connect the charger to the charging socket (7) at the rear of the
handle grip (1).
2.
Plug the battery charger in a power socket. The red LED will come on
to indicate that charging is underway.
3.
The temperature of the battery may rise slightly during the charging
operation. This is normal.
4.
As soon as battery is fully charged, the red LED will turn off.
If the LED light does not come on or the battery fails to charge, check
whether there is voltage at the socket.
Regular recharging of the battery is advised to maintain full power of the
shears. Recharging is necessary when you notice a drop in the tool's
performance.
Never allow the battery to become fully discharged. This may cause a fault
to develop.
Instructions for use
This product is intended for light trimming of garden hedges, shrubs and lawn
edges.
1.
Push the safety lock-off (5) then depress the on/off switch (6). This will
start the trimming shears.
Please note: when you release the on/off switch it will re-engage the
safety lock-off switch, this is to prevent accidental start-up.
2.
Practice with the shears first on small areas until you are more
comfortable.
3.
Work in straight rows, keeping the head of the trimmer at the correct
height and not pointing down to the earth.
