STEP 3
Take 2 crossbeam boards and attach to one of the beam assembly. (See photos 5 & 6.) Repeat with the
other end of the same beam assembly.

STEP 4
Get your helpers to set up the post and beam frames while you climb up on the step ladder and attach the
loose end of the crossbeams to the second post & beam assembly. (See photos 7 & 8.)

STEP 5
Attach the rafters to the beam assembly. Note that each block has an X to one side of it. Place the rafter on
top of this X. (See photo 9.) Insert a 3¼" bolt through the predrilled hole in the rafter and through the block.
(See photo 10.) Screw a flange nut on the bolt. (See photo 11.) Tighten with the ½" wrench or socket.
Repeat with each end of each of the rest of the rafters.
