You can now install the main gear and rotor head assembly so we can mesh the pinion to main gear
and tighten motor and upper blocks in the frames. Not all main gears are perfectly round so it
would be best to go ahead and pre-mesh the gears and rotate main gear till you find the tightest
point of main gear. Best way to mesh gears is by using a small strip of paper to slip between the
main and pinion gear which would give you a very nice gap between the gears. Go ahead and
tighten the motor mount and upper block making sure that you've used loctite.
The front battery will mount under the front RX tray as seen in the picture. Clean all surfaces of
the tray with rubbing alcohol to allow the sticky back velcro to mate to the surface. Cut a good size
of hooked velcro and cover the entire bottom of the tray. Using the final supplied velcro
strap and mount to RX tray as seen in pictures. Install both batteries and make sure you get them
as close to the motor as possible with battery leads facing the motor. Make sure all wires are secure
yet have enough slack so you don't experience any issues. You will notice the model is perfectly
balanced by following these instructions. You may need to cut off the small servo mount on front
frame stiffener which was designed to adjust nitro engine needle settings. By using a hobby knife or
razor blade, mark the back of the frame stiffener along the edge of the frame and remove. Using a
dremel with a cutoff wheel or any tool you can safely remove the servo mount section of the frame
stiffener which makes it much easier to install and use your front velcro strap.
