Garmin GTS 8000 Replacing
Section 1 References Prior to Certain Software and Configuration Loading
When replacing the GTS 8000 the following steps must be completed first:
Note: This is with the G3000 powered up in normal mode.
Radar Trim Settings
• Go into the left GTC:
o Use Back button and select Aircraft Systems.
o Select Maintenance.
o Enter CACCDMS for password.
o Select Radar Trim.
 Record Pitch Trim Value= ____________
 Record Roll Trim Value= ____________
o If the Radar trims were not both at zero originally:
 Select Restore Defaults.
o Select Home.
 Select Utilities.
 Select Setup.
 Select Avionics Status.
 Select the Airframe Tab on the left side.
 Record the Config ID now that the radar trims are zero= ____________
