First Time Turning On the Colorado

The first time you turn on your Colorado, the GPS
receiver must collect satellite data and establish its
current location. To ensure proper initialization, the
Colorado is shipped from the factory in AutoLocate
mode, which allows the receiver to "find itself"
anywhere in the world.
NOTE: To receive satellite signals, you must be
outdoors and have a clear view of the sky.
After powering on the first time, the Colorado moves
you through three setup screens: language selection,
time zone, and daylight savings time mode. For
complete information on initial Colorado setup, see the
Colorado Series Quick Start Guide.
