Check the LUNs
If VM2000 is in use, disks must be assigned to a guest VM by VM2000 administration (/ADD-VM-DEVICES).
6.1
SE Server (SU /390) and S-Server
Use /ATTACH-DEVICE and /SHOW-DISK-STATUS for checks by means of BS2000, resp. /SHOW-STORAGE-DEVICE-
CONFIG for checks by means of SHC-OSD.
6.2
SE Server (SU x86) and SQ-Server
The ETERNUS DX/AF storage system and the new devices must be visible from the X2000. Please check by
using Web GUI or by using the X2000 command "emptool display paths" for the SQ-Server and the SE Server.
Use /ATTACH-DEVICE and /SHOW-DISK-STATUS for checks by means of BS2000, resp. /SHOW-STORAGE-DEVICE-
CONFIG for checks by means of SHC-OSD.
