SYMPTOM
External Leak
Reduced air fl ow or a signifi cant
general increase in breathing
resistance in the complete regulator
Impossible to inhale or exhale from the
complete regulator
Water enters the mouthpiece
during inhalation

POSSIBLE CAUSE
3. The connector or valve support o-rings (7)
are extruded, worn or damaged.
2. The mouthpiece body (10) is cracked.
3. The corrugated hoses (1) are worn or
damaged.
4. The corrugated hose clamping bands (2)
are damaged or improperly installed.
1. The cylinder valve is not completely open.
2. The cylinder valve needs servicing.
3. The fi rst stage fi lter(10) is blocked.
4. The cylinder is empty.
1. The valve supports (8) have been fi tted
the wrong way in the mouthpiece.
2. The mouthpiece has been fi tted back
backwards to the corrugated hoses.
3. The cylinder valve is not open.
4. The cylinder is empty.
1. Mouthpiece (14) pierced or broken.
2. Diaphragm damaged.
3. The connector or valve support o-rings (7)
are extruded, worn or damaged.
4. The corrugated hose clamping bands (2)
are damaged or improperly installed.
5. The corrugated hoses (1) are worn or
damaged.
TREATMENT
1. Replace the o-rings
2. Replace the mouthpiece body
3. Replace the corrugated hoses
4. Re-install or replace the clamping
bands
1. Open the valve and check the
cylinder pressure
2. Try another cylinder
