Mounting the Phase Contrast

Ring or Darkfield Ring

1. Swing in the top lens by motorized operation.

2. Using the Allen screwdriver provided with the condenser, loosen

the turret cover clamping screw @ and remove the turret cover

².

# When removing the turret cover, care should be taken to

prevent damage to the top lens and the dust protective

glass in the turret cover.

3. Swing the top lens out by motorized operation so it does not

impede mounting of the optical elements.

4. Engage the position to be used in the light path by motorized

operation, loosen the optical element centering knob ³ by

turning it counterclockwise while pushing it down, then re-

move the dummy optical element.

# Do not turn the turret while the centering screw is loose.

Otherwise, the centering screw may interfere with other

part.
