NTRODUCTION
The DGP2-ZC1 is used to protect doors and windows.
Typically, a magnet (not included) is mounted on a door or
window and the contact switch is mounted on the door frame
or windowsill (see Figure 1 below). An open zone signal is
sent through the communication network to the control panel
when the magnet moves away from the reed switch
(included). When the magnet returns to its position close to
the reed switch, a zone restore signal is sent. The distance
between the magnet and the reed switch is determined by the
magnet's specifications.
Once it is connected to the network, assign the DGP2-ZC1 to
a zone in the control panel as described in Zone
Programming (refer to the appropriate control panel
Reference & Installation Manual).

The Addressable Door Contact can be connected to and
used with any Digiplex (DGP-48) and DigiplexNE (DGP-
NE96) control panel. Connect the DGP2-ZC1 to the
communication network as shown in Figure 1 below.
