Notes on using the device

Things to observe

Do not use for long after the engine is off
・ Using the device long after the engine has been
turned OFF will consume battery power, which
may cause unexpected trouble.
Pay attention to radio-wave interference
・ Using mobile phone or other electronic devices
close to the set may affect the image or cause noise
due to radio-wave interference.
How to clean
・ Wipe gently using soft cloth.
・ If the device is very dirty, wipe it with a wet cloth
soaked with neutral cleaning agent, then wipe with
dry cloth.
・ Do not use insecticide or other volatile agents, and
do not let the device to come in contact with rubber
or vinyl products for extended period to avoid
leaving trace or causing discoloration.

LED screen

Attention during handling
・ Due to high temperature, the LED screen can be
damaged if used under direct sunlight for extended
period. Thus, if possible, avoid using under direct
sunlight.
・ Use the device within the temperature range
recommended.
・ Do not press the LED screen too hard to avoid
breaking or damaging it.
・ Do not touch the LED screen unnecessarily to
avoid crack or dirt.
・ Small dark dots or bright (shining) dots may be
seen on the screen. These do not mean damage, but
are characteristics of LED screen.
Notes on using the device
・ Using the device on non-DC12V vehicles (like
vessel) may cause damage.
・ The company will not be responsible for any defect
resulting from not observing the precautions stated
in this manual.
LED back light
・ When using the device under low-temperature
surroundings, the remaining image will become
conspicuous and the visual quality will deteriorate
slightly This is characteristic of LED. Raising the
surrounding temperature will bring these back to
normal.
・ If the monitor temperature rises due to mid-
summer hot weather or direct HVAC air blow, the
backlight brightness may dim down by itself to
protect the LED.
・ The life-span of the LED back light is assumed to
be more than 10,000 hours, but if used in high-
temperature environment, the life-span might be
shortened.
・ When the LED back light life expires, the screen
will turn dark, and the image may not appear.
Under such situation, consult the dealer.
