The water is treated through the resins in the mixing bed cartridge, to

obtain demineralised water free of any substances that may precipitate
treatment
and form deposits in the circuit.
This treatment also inhibits all type of corrosion as demineralised water is
not electrically conductive.
To choose the correct type and quantity of cartridges to be used, the
Sizing
electrical conductivity of the circuit filling water must be known, as well as
the volume of water to be introduced in the system.
The calculation uses these values and the corresponding sizing code for
each cartridge (value specified in the technical specifications of the
cartridge).

In this way, using cartridge code 570930, corresponding to a sizing
coefficient of 570, it is possible to completely demineralize 1,140 litres of
water with an electrical conductivity of 500 μS/cm.
