Output Channel Names
1. Press LAYER / [MASTER].
2. Press DISPLAY ACCESS / [OUTPUT PATCH].
3. Keep pressing this button to locate "Output Channel Name" page.
4. Select output channel to name.
5. Edit long and/or short output channel names as needed.
6. Press [ENTER].
NOTE: Turn check box "Name Input Auto Copy" on/off as needed.
Input Channel Setup
NOTE: Assume the input patch is completed.
Select the Channel
1. Press LAYER key as needed.
2. Select the channel on that layer by touching the fader.
3. If fader touch sensitivity is turned off, press [SEL].
Set Internal Mic Preamp Gain Trim & Phantom Power
1. Press MONITOR / [DISPLAY] to locate "Solo Setup" page.
2. Set SOLO=ENABLE/MODE=RECORDING/LISTEN=PREFADER/
SEL MODE=LAST.
3. Set +48v on/off as needed for condenser microphones.
4. Press DISPLAY ACCESS / [METER] & locate "Channel 1-24" page.
5. Set metering point and peak hold as needed.
6. Press [SOLO] on channel(s) if needed.
7. Adjust channel(s) gain trim for peak input level of about –6dB.
Monitor quality with headphones.
8. With channel(s) [SOLO] off, meter level at fader '0' is as before.
9. Use channel(s) pad only if peak light is on with trim at minimum.
10. Repeat 3 – 9 as needed for 24 inputs.
Set AD824 Remote Mic Preamp Gain Trim & Phantom Power
1. On SELECTED CHANNEL: PHASE/INSERT, press [DISPLAY].
2. Keep pressing this button to locate "AD824 Gain/Phantom" page.
3. Select preamp and channel with cursor.
4. Adjust gain trim as needed with Data Wheel.
5. Set phantom power as needed by pressing [ENTER]
NOTE: This page is hidden if system setup is not done.
Assign Channel to Bus Output
1. Select the channel.
2. On SELECTED CHANNEL / ROUTING, press bus assignments as
needed.
