Step 2.

Using the same principles as shown in Step 1, position and fix the remaining beams and posts so that your

assembly matches the diagram below. Refer to the previous page for the plan view layout of the pergola.

Before securing the posts to the ground, use a spirit level to ensure that the posts are vertical and the beams are horizontal.

Now secure the pergola posts to the ground, using 1x 70x70x70mm Angle Bracket per post (fixings not supplied),

ensuring that the posts are plumb, beams are level and diagonals are equal.

Next, position and fix 2x 140x45x630.A onto each post. Use 2x M10x120mm Hex Head Screws and 2x M10x20mm

Washers to fix these.
