Setting up the Calculator – New Batteries

• Select your language using the up down arrows, then press q (SELECT).

• Press u (NEXT). This displays the "Display Settings" screen

– press ! to make the screen darker, or $ to make it brighter.

• Press u (NEXT). This displays the "Power Properties" screen

– Power Off: press the appropriate duration before the calculator turns off

– press N

– Backlight: press the appropriate duration for backlight to remain on.

• Press u (NEXT). This displays the "Battery Settings" screen

– press B and N to move the highlighting to the battery type that matches the batteries loaded in the calculator

then press q (SELECT)

– press q (YES) to change the setting or u (NO) to cancel and return to "Battery Settings".

• Press u (FINISH) to complete the setting procedure and display the Main Menu.
