The function light, mounted behind the front
12
face of the sensor, indicates the status of the
sensor and will flash when it detects a user in
the sensor area.
When the sensor is powered up for the
first time it will initiate a 60 second set up
procedure. Do not move into the sensor
area during this time.
Following initialisation the sensor will enter
normal operation. The normal operation
section describes how the auto flush sensor
operates. Having checked that everything is
operating correctly the Bezel can be fitted.

When you first power up the system the
14
Green Colour LED (Green Power/Red
Charge) will come on indicating there is
POWER to the unit. After approximately 1.5
Secs the red LED will light for the time set on
the time setting switches.
The red LED will turn off for a short time and
then come on again for the initial charge
period. When the red LED turns off for the
second time the system is ready for use.
When the red LED goes out the system is
active and monitoring the sensor inputs.
Upon a signal from one of the inputs the
valve will lift for the time set on the time
adjuster, when the valve drops the red LED
will come on for the charge period, again
indicating that the system is charging.
No operation of the valve is possible while
the red LED is ON.
Once the red LED goes out the system is
ready for use again.
You have now completed the installation
and the Flushvalve WC Flushing System is
ready to use.

Function light
Reset
In normal operation the function light will
13
flash while a user is in the area of the sensor,
when the user leaves the area the walka
way timer starts.
When the walkaway time has been
reached the sensor will either:
1. Operate a flush, if the user was in range
for more than 10 seconds.
2. Reset the sensor if the user was in range
for less than 10 seconds.
In either case if the user moves back into
range before the walkaway time has been
reached the sensor will continue to monitor
and no action will take place until the user
leaves the area again.
If the user stays in the area for more than
10 minutes the sensor will force a reset to
protect against a stuck sensor situation.
Trouble shooting and requirements for the
use of the WC auto sensor
The sensor is preset to a sensing range
of 700mm and a walkaway time of 4/5
seconds. It should not be necessary to alter
these factory preset settings. If adjustment is
necessary contact DVS.
