Safety Information

To avoid personal injury while using the Corning® MicroDEN® unit:
Take care while installing tubing; pinch points exist between the upper and

lower section of the pump door.
Do not operate the pumps while pump doors are open

To avoid damage or malfunction of the MicroDEN unit:
Ensure the unit is always placed on a firm, stable, and horizontal surface.
◗ ◗
Do not attempt to remove or repair the outer case of the unit.
◗ ◗
Never attempt to repair, disassemble, or modify this unit yourself, as tampering
◗ ◗
with this product may result in injury or fire.
Do not drop the unit or allow objects to fall onto it.
◗ ◗
Do not allow the unit to be submerged or immersed in liquid.
◗ ◗
Do not place any objects on top of this unit, and never stand or lean on the
◗ ◗
unit. Failure to do so may cause the equipment to fall or collapse, which may
result in breakage and/or injury.
Do not autoclave this unit.

Do not perform the sterilization cycle of an incubator with the MicroDEN unit
◗ ◗
inside.
Do not use acetone to clean the unit.
◗ ◗
Always use the provided external power supply to power the MicroDEN unit.

Emissions and Interference - Warning Statements
