EWS-102 CONTROL UNIT
To begin the system
setup, press the
buttons together.
Enter the system setup menu.
Select the first menu item.
CAP indicates the elevator maximum capacity. To view the current value press
AL 1 is the load value to trigger Alarm Relay 1. To view the current value press .
AL 2 is the load value to trigger Alarm Relay 2. To view the current value press .
AL 3 is similar to Alarms 1 & 2 but allows negative values to be entered. When editing the most
significant digit, instead of rolling over from 9 to 0 it included the minus sign option.
This defines the value by which the load in the lift has to drop to reset the instrument, once the
alarm has been triggered.
The next item is an auto zero function used to compensate for longer term zero drift. It defines
how long the elevator must be at rest before the zero point is redefined.

This defines the deviation allowed for the longer term deviation function (maximum value
+/-99kg). Press
The filter value determines the update rate and damping factor. The available settings are:
0 = 0.4sec, 1 = 0.8sec, 2 = 1.2sec, 3 = 1.6sec.
An internal sounder beeps when an overload alarm is triggered or when the keypad is pressed. To
change the setting, press and use to toggle between ON and OFF.
Save the change by pressing

system parameters.

Use the button to step through the menu items.
Press to view the value of a menu item.
Editing Values
When a value is displayed, use to select the digit to edit
(selected digit flashes) and use to step through the values
for that digit.

to save a change. The system will revert to the
operational display after approx. 10 seconds. Alternatively,
return to the operational display by pressing
Press to toggle to 'OFF' if you wish to disable the function,
and press
to jump to 'FIL'
This is the current value (example is 1 hour) that defines the
time that the elevator must be empty for (in hours up to a
maximum of 10 hours). Press
