Maintaining the Pretium Tool

Problem: Power light does not come on or flashes

Possible Cause:

1. The battery is low and needs to be

replaced

Problem: Cannot get a green light

Possible Cause:

1. Cover not closed

2. Error Light not cleared

3. Fibre not inserted correctly in the

connector.

4. Bad Cleave à

5. Broke fibre in the connector or defective

connector

6. Weak Batteries

Solution:

1. Replace the battery. If the light is still flashing

or not shining, please place an RMA

1. Close lid before inserting the field fibre.

2. Check problem point " Power light does not

come on or flashes"

3. Hit reset button and repeat inserting field

Fibre in the connector and re- Cam.

4. Check chapter " Maintaining the Pretium

FBC-015 Cleaver"

5. Remove the connector and place another

one in the tool and retry

6. Replace batteries
