Simply slide the shears along
the turf on their sliding sled
This ensures a constant even

surface makes the shears easy
to handle. The best cutting
results are obtained with dry
grass. However, there is no elec-
trical danger when the grass is
for instance damp.

cutting results. They can be
sharpened by using a sharpen-

mend always immediate removal
of notches and burrs which
could be caused by stones.
The possibility of separating the

makes sharpening especially
easy.
The shears should be cleaned

A few drops of oil (e.g. sewing
machine oil) applied to the
blades improve the cutting per-
formance. However, never
grease the blades.
For a constant clean cut it is
necessary to remove grass
residues and dirt even between
upper and lower blade. There-
fore, disassemble and clean the
blades also at this place from
time to time.
