Replacing the front panel module

Ê Open the server as described in the

Ê Remove the screw at the right side of the front panel (see

page

23).

Ê Push the front panel module carefully out of the housing about one centi-

meter using a screwdriver.

Ê Pull the front panel module out of the housing.

Ê Disconnect the front panel cable from the front panel module.

Ê Connect the front panel cable to the new front panel module.

Ê Push the front panel module into the housing. Be careful not to damage the

front panel cable.

Ê Fasten the front panel board with the screw.

Ê Route the front panel cable in the cable clamps again.

Ê Close the server and connect all power plugs (for a detailed description see

the Options Guide).
