First, remove

the stage mounted

on the BX-series

microscope,

replacing

it with the U-SRG rotatable

stage. When replacing

the stage, be very careful to avoid striking

parts such as objectives.

1. Move the 1 OX objective

into the light path and place an object that

can serve as a specimen

mark at the center of the crosshairs.

2. Rotate the stage and use the two stage centering

knobs 0 to move

the center of the circle described by the specimen

mark to the center

of the crosshairs.

* Repeat the above

procedure

several

times

until the stage is

accurately

centered.

3. Insert the specimen

holes in the stage are

most convenient.
