Using your Portable Bluetooth Speaker
Switch on
Press and release the large volume control button on the end of the Bluetooth speaker. The
control will pop out and the blue LED ring around the outside of the volume control will switch
on. The blue LED ring will flash whilst your Bluetooth speaker searches for other Bluetooth
devices. When a Bluetooth connection is made, you will hear an audible alert and the blue
LED ring will change to be steady on.
Switch off
Push in the large volume control on the end of the Bluetooth speaker until you hear a
'click'. Release the volume control and it will remain pushed in and flush with the end of the
Bluetooth speaker. Your speaker is now switched off.
Note: If there is no Bluetooth device connected for a period of 4 minutes, the Bluetooth
speaker will power to 'standby' mode automatically. In standby mode, the large blue LED
ring will flash slowly. Pull in the large volume control, until you hear a 'click', to fully switch off
the Bluetooth speaker.
Adjusting the volume
Turn the volume control clockwise to increase the volume and anticlockwise to decrease the
volume.
Standby
The Bluetooth speaker will automatically put itself into standby mode if there is no Bluetooth
device connected for a period of 4 minutes. In standby mode, the blue LED ring around the
volume control will flash slowly, about every 3 seconds. Switch your Bluetooth speaker off
and on again, it will return to the mode it was last used in (Bluetooth or AUX in).
Charging the battery
1.
Plug the micro USB end of the supplied cable into the micro USB socket on the end of the
Bluetooth speaker. Please make sure that you push the micro USB plug into the socket
fully.
2. Connect the standard USB end of the supplied USB cable to the USB socket on the
supplied mains power plug and then plug into a mains power socket and switch on.
The red charging LED to the right of the micro USB socket on the Bluetooth speaker will
switch on.
Note: You can only charge your Bluetooth speaker using the supplied USB cable and
plug. You cannot charge your Bluetooth speaker using a computer USB socket.
