Adjusting the AutoFeed Hopper Guide
The AutoFeed Hopper Guide is set at the factory. However, if paper is feeding incorrectly or too many sheets are being
pulled causing the shredder to jam, it may be necessary to adjust the infeed gap.
1.
Remove top case assembly.
2.
Press AutoFeed Lever and slide in a stack of 8 sheets
of 20# paper (Figure 5).
3.
To adjust Hopper Guide up or down, use a 5.5 mm nut
driver to loosen the 4 screws holding it in place (Figure
6).
4.
Press down on the Guide and slide the paper in and
out until you reach medium to light drag on the paper
stack (Figure 7).
5.
Tighten screws and replace Top Case.
