Step 3.
•
Make sure your posts are level vertically (use a spirit level).
•
Use a tape measure to check the distance of the top and bottom diagonals (4 diagonals in total).
•
Make sure they are all the same before continuing withinstallation.
•
If they are different, slightly move posts to make all diagonals equal (A=B on the top and on the bottom of
posts).
•
Measure diagonals to check for squareness. Check Posts and Beams to make sure they are plumb
and level !!
•
Fix 70x70x55 Brackets to Posts using (4x) 35mm screws.
•
Secure the Pergola Posts to the ground using 70x70x55 Brackets. (Fixings not supplied)
•
Fix (2x) 45x140x630.A Brace to each Post using (2x) M10x120
