3.- OPERATION

1. Before first use, remove the protective film from both the

outer and inner filter lens (ADF).

2.- Adjust the head to your measurement, both in extension and

diameter, until a firm and comfortable fit is obtained.

a) Adjust the band diameter with the adjustment knob on the

back of the head. Turn the knob clockwise to tighten; or turn

counterclockwise to loosen the band.

b) Adjust the upper band to one of the preset

positions for correct depth.

c) To adjust the viewing angle, reposition the ratchet

mechanism located on the side of the suspension to the

desired elevation position. Once the desired angle is

achieved, ensure that the locking pins are secure. The hull

should be able to be folded down, but should not deflect

downwards when in place for welding.

d) To adjust the distance between the user's face and the ADF,

press the set of buttons located on the sides until the

headband can move freely back and forth. This must be

done on one side at a time, and both sides must be in the

same position for correct operation of the auto-darkening

filter.

e) Shade control is done from the outside of the mask with the

knob, where the first locking position is DIN 3, position

GRINDER, and then, once the knob is unlocked, the shades can

be adjusted from 9 to 13, as required.
