Eyepiece tube

Attach

the eyepiece tube on the intermediate

tube "P", fitting

the notch of the circular dovetail on the end of the clamp screw.

Fasten the clamp screw.

Intermed iate tube "P"

Attach the intermediate tube "P" on the arm of the X-POL stand,

fitting

the notch

of the circular

dovetail

on the end of the

clamp screw. Fasten the clamp

screw.

Lamp input plug

Connect

the

plug to the

receptacle

the

filter

receptacle's left side.

Lamp housing

Insert

the

lamp

housing into the col-

lector lens, and fas-

ten the clamp screw

on the left side of

the housing.

Filter

Place the

filter

into

the

filter

frame.

After centering the lamp,

put the filter with the frame into

the filter

receptacle. No frame is

provided for the diffuser.

Power input plug

Connect

the plug to the re-

ceptacle

on the fi Iter recep-

tacle's right side.

Insert the lamp bulb with

its pins into the accepting

holes in the socket.

Note: Don't

touch

the

bulb surface directly

with the fi nger.

Filter frame

Eyepiece tube clamp screw

Socket sleeve

Insert the socket sleeve into

the lamp housing, and fasten

it firmly with the clamp screw.
