fan-shaped hammer 4 lightly when it swings. Do not make the pointer affected and the pointer
should be on the poison of zero. It there is deviation, please adjust the adjustment screw 5. Then
repeat the above operations till the pointer is on the zero position.
When move the instrument or exchange the hammer, please re-calibrated zero.
V. Operation
Lift the fan-shaped hammer 4 to fix the baffle 10, and then dial the pointer to the left position of
the baffle 13 with a pointer. Place the two sides of the specimen on the between of dynamic clip
6 and fixed clip 7. Tighten the screws of the two clips and keep the upper part of the specimen
remain free. Meanwhile the specimen towards the fan-shaped hammer 4, pull the tearing knife 9
to cut a 20mm length line.
Tilt the test spanner 8 and the fan-shaped hammer 4 moves freely. It will make the specimen tore
fully. Seize the fan-shaped hammer 4 and look at the pointer reading (Force value ruler 2), then
record the data.
Repeat the above operations till finish the test.
VI. Precautions
The test value is range of 20%~80% of full scale value. Or you should increase or decrease the
hammer.
The small and big hammer A,B and the long and short screws are not be used when the force
value is 0~16N.
When the force value is 0~32N, please add the small hammer A and use two short screws to fix
the small hammer.
When the force value is 0~64N, please add the big hammer B and use two long screws to fix the
big hammer.
