Media calibration

This task can be done either using the FlexProgram or via IO-Link (e.g. BSS). The following ex-

ample shows calibration with FlexProgram.

Media calibration for the different ranges is by calculating the temperature compensation after 3

measuring operations.

Condition:

ð The sensor is connected to a PC with software FlexProgram installed.

ð The sensor is switched on.

ð Calibration is performed in a controlled environment.

Instruction:

a) Open software FlexProgram on the PC.

b) Open setting PAC50 in the left column.

c) Click on icon

d) Click on button

Dialog window opens.

e) Select the calibration range from the Drop-Down menu

f) Start the measuring operation by clicking on button Measure.

Repeat the measuring operation in the same medium at 3 different temperatures

NOTICE! . In each measuring operation, the sensor tip must be immersed in the

medium for at least 1 minute.

g) Calculate the media temperature compensation by clicking on button Calculate.

Result:

Calibration completed.
