CH – This selection allows the clean channel, the crunch channel and the boost gain stage
to "memorize" the last delay program that was active while on that setting. For example,
while the clean channel is active, you activate the delay effect and select delay program
#3. Then, let's say you switched to the crunch channel and activate delay program #2. If
you then switch back to the clean channel, the amp would automatically switch back to
delay program #3. Lastly, switching again to the crunch channel would automatically
switch to delay program #2 and so forth.
Section 5
This section is where you will find the controls for the MASTER volume and the STANDBY ("STBY") switch.
MASTER – Use this control to raise or lower the overall volume level of the amplifier.
STBY – Tube amps need to be warmed up when they're initially turned on. Putting the amp in standby
(STBY) and then switching the power switch 'On', allows the amp to be turned on but keeps full voltage
from reaching the power tubes until they've had sufficient time to warm up. This approach goes a long
way towards protecting the power tubes and will substantively prolong their useful life.
It is also recommended that your amplifier be turned off in the reverse order, setting standby switch to
'STBY' and then turning the power switch to 'Off'.
