Loosly fasten the
nut on the cable
on the bottom
bracket

Crimp the barrels

sized crimping tool, such as the one

disassemble unit.

Pull cable through the
hole in the endcap
flange until taut.

Pull cable up through

Cut cable

Pull cable
down, until
crimped
barrels are
resting on
the flange.

Undo the nut and
pull the cable down,
until the mark aligns
with the bottom
of the endcap

Strip cable
to that spot.

Reassemble cable
