ATTENTION ! All hydraulic fluid that comes in contact or infiltrates the skin must be
treated by a doctor who is familiar with this kind of injury within the hours that follow the
accident. If the injury is neglected it may cause serious health problems and could possibly
lead to gangrene.
3.2.6 Danger of Electrocution : Be extra CAREFUL if you have to operate your loader and boom close
to any hydro electrical lines.
3.3 Operation SET UP :
3.3.1 Security legs : Choose a flat solid ground area with
the least possible slope to support well your trailer and load.
Whenever the loader (or trator) is in operation irregardless if it is
connected or not to an tractor always lower the 2 stabilizing legs to
the ground to ensure that the machine is well balanced horizontally
before using the primary and secondary booms.
3.3.2 Loading : Begin loading the trailer with the logs
closest to the loader. These logs will create the counter weight you need to operate safely the secondary boom
at full extension. If you sense that the trailer is starting to tip immediately drop your load. Bring your trailer
closer before you continue loading.
REMEMBER to always raise your stabilizing legs whenever you move the trailer.
3.4 Unloading : Once your stabilizing legs are in place start unloading. Avoid rapid or sudden
movements. As you get to the bottom of your load reduce the number of logs in the grapple in order not to
destabilize your trailer. As your load reduces so does your counter weight especially if your secondary boom is
fully extended.
3.5 Moving off-road or on public roads :
Raise the stabilizing legs and secure the grapple around the main beam. If the trailer is loaded secure
the grapple to the load's center of gravity. Do not forget to remove the jack and place it on the grid protection, if
not you may damage it when moving. Attach a security chain between the machine and your tractor.
Take the time to check out the road regulations in your area. From what we know the tires of the
R-Flex 410 trailer are generally not the regulation approved tires to travel long distances on public roads.
3.6 End of Operation :
If you own a hydraulic unit you must NEVER FORGET to close the motor return gas valve at the end of
each work day and especially over a long storage period.
3.7 Maintenance and Repairing :
Remove regularly all flammable material away from the motor.
Stop the motor and remove the key (from the tractor and or machine unit) before beginning any
maintenance, adjustments and repairs to the loader. Release the oil pressure before you move under any raised
hydraulic parts, and make sure that these parts and connections are in stable secure position. Replace all
defective or used parts, and we recommend that you use original or approved parts to conserve your warranty.
