Section 4: Component Removal

PCB Board Control Removal

NOTE

1. Cut off power to the hood unit.

2. The vent grill cover, filter assembly and control

box top cover needs to be removed before the

PCB control board can be removed

3. Wear a anti static wrist strap.

1． Remove two screws on the electrical

mounting plate wire strain relief. Remove

strain relief.

2． Remove all the terminals on the PCB

control board. Note the location and color

of the harness connectors on the PCB

control board for reassembly.

3． Spread the plastic retaining clips to release the

PCB control board from electrical mounting plate.

NOTE

1. Reinstall PCB board and reconnect the

terminals into the sockets according to the

connector color and number of pins.

2. After reinstalling the control box top cover

(before tightening screws) check that all

wires are inside control box top cover. No

wires should be pinched between the top

cover and range hood housing.

3. After the unit has been completely

reassembled run the hood and check all

functions.
