Error management and maintenance
The CCE 2040 NG is equipped with a comprehensive error management system to inform you about problems during money
processing and counterfeit detection, but also to draw attention to sensor contamination. Please pay particular attention to the
instructions for cleaning the machine given below in order to rule out errors caused by contaminated sensors and to achieve
optimum results when counting banknotes.

Troubleshooting
1. Remove the banknote from the stack and
continue the counting process by pressing
the red Start button.
2. count the rejected banknote again at the
end. If the banknote is displayed again,
please check its authenticity and integrity.
The washing of banknotes can falsify the UV
signature.
3. if the UV error occurs more often, please
clean the sensors and make sure that no
direct light shines through bright lamps into
the sensor area.
