Do a momentary start/stop operation to detect cutter rotation.

Facing the cutter head opening, it should rotate counterclockwise.

The cutter head is screwed on the shaft with right hand threads. It

can be tightened or loosened and removed with pipe wrenches. It

should be checked daily for tightness.

AIR SUPPLY

The air supply MUST be clean and dry for proper performance of

this machine. A commercial air filter and dryer must be put in line

before this machine to protect it from contaminants. Failure to do

so will void the warranty of this machine.

The main inlet air pressure should be between 100 to 125 PSI.

The primary regulator should be set at a minimum of 60 PSI and

the secondary regulator should be set at approximately 80 PSI. The

primary regulator adjusts clamp the pressure for the while the

secondary regulator adjusts the feed cylinder pressure. See Fig. 1.
