The lubricators should be set to use a bowlful of air tool oil

approximately every 30 hours of use.

Drain the filters every day. See Fig. 1.

OPERATION

1. The log should be inserted in to the clamp until it nearly touches

the face of the cutter head. See Fig.2.

2. The clamp should be engaged using the hand valve. See Fig 3.

3. The log is fed into the cutter head using foot valve.

4. The log is retrieved from the cutter by releasing the foot valve.

5. The log is taken out of the clamp opening the hand valve.

Care must be taken to prevent the log from hitting the rotating

cutter before it is clamped.

NEVER OPEN THE CLAMP WHILE LOG IS INSIDE CUTTER

HEAD. INJURY OR DEATH CAN OCCUR.
