OPERATION WARNINGS/INSTRUCTIONS

• There must be a foam pad on the base before using the polisher
• Do not apply pressure to the unit. The weight of the polisher is adequate to do the task
correctly
• Do not make adjustments to the polisher while it is in operation
• When the polisher is not in use, DO NOT set on base. Store the polisher in a "base-up"
position to prevent damage
• The most common error is applying too much wax
• Before you begin, make sure the work surface is clean and dry. If the work surface is a car,
remove road tar, excess grease spots, bugs, stains, and other surface problems with a
general cleaner before waxing or polishing
• Make sure the work surface is free of objects that could damage the pad
• Be sure to use a clean foam pad at the start of each project. Dirt and debris left on an old
pad may cause damage to the surface to be polished
• Always start and stop polisher on or against the surface of the car to prevent the pad from
flying off
• If the pad should come off the base, you may be using too much wax
• Do not wax a surface in direct sunlight
• Do not leave wax on a car or work surface for an extended time period
• Follow the recommendations provided with the wax manufacturer to avoid wax removal
problems and/or paint damage
