Oil
We recommend the use of BEROTEC chain oil, tried and tested with
the MOFESSOR.
The use of other types of oil is possible. However, so-called "biological
oils" as well as sunflower oil and rape oil have to be avoided. These
kinds of oil have the tendency to gum and will block the system.
Solvent-based liquids are not allowed.
Viscosity recommendation:
Viscosity /40°C / ASTM D 7042: 100 mm²/s
Viscosity-index / ASTM D 2270: 135
Depending on the operating conditions and the installation, the
average oil consumption is about 1ml per 100 km.
