Installation

4.1

Preparations

There is no need for special tools. Often the needed tools can be

found in the on-board tool set of your motorbike. For some models

special installation manuals exist.

motorbike. It is necessary to find a power supply on the motorbike

which is switched by the ignition. Often this is already prepared by the

manufacturer of the motorbike (e.g. for navigation systems, often

called "ACC2"). Otherwise the power supply of the front- or taillight,

the mark lighting or the power supply of the horn can be used. The

forked current is very low (20mA), so there is no influence on the

electrical system of your bike.

4.2

Place of Installation

worldwide. To achieve its correct function, the oil tank has to be

installed higher than the dispensing valve (see chapter 3.2, Figure 1).

No part of the system should be mounted close to hot components

such as exhaust or engine. Under the passenger seat you may find

enough space for the installation. The self-adhesive foam can be used

for the installation to protect the parts from scrubbing.
