Step 3:

Be sure you have the front drilling guides secured well before drilling. Line the upper

bearing block holes with the holes in the drilling guide. Use the required drill bit to

drill through the guide holes as seen in the pictures. It's not necessary to use excessive

force when drilling the carbon side frames. Excessive force will dull the drill bit and may

damage the carbon frames. The original holes in the frames are approximately 4.6mm

so you will need to find a drill bit that size or close to it. You can use the drilling guides

supplied to index the right drill bit. We'll be using the stock shouldered screws supplied

with the Align Trex 700N kit for mounting the motor mount, upper bearing block,

battery mount and side frames to bottom plate connecting brackets.
