Replacing the TPM board
Ê Open the server as described in
Ê Remove the system board as described in
board" on page
Ê Lay the system board on a soft, antistatic surface with its component side
facing down.
Ê Locate the slotted lower end of the TPM
screw (see adjoining figure).
Remove the TPM screw using a thin
slotted screwdriver (e.g. watchmaker's
screwdriver).

CAUTION!
Ensure to turn the screw
clockwise in order to remove it!
Otherwise the thin metal bar may
break, rendering it impossible to unscrew the screw.
Ê Remove the defective TPM board on the upper side of the system board.
Ê Reinstall the system board and all its components as described in
"Replacing the system board" on page
34
