6 Cisco 7513 Card Cage and Backplane Assembly Replacement Instructions

Place your thumbs on the ejector levers on both ends of the processor module (see

Figure 3c) and simultaneously pull them both outward to release the processor module

from the backplane connector.

Grasp the processor module handle with one hand and place your other hand under the

carrier to support it. Pull the processor module straight out of the slot keeping it at a

90-degree orientation to the backplane. (See Figure 5 on page 8.)
