Connecting a UPS to an AC-Powered Voice Gateway

Before you install a UPS, make sure that you read the installation instructions.

Connecting the Chassis to a +12V DC Power Supply
Caution
If you are powering the chassis using a +12V DC power supply, ensure that you have not connected the chassis
to an AC power source. Do not use AC and DC power at the same time. If you do, the unit stops operating,
and you must reboot it with only a single power source.
Power to a DC-powered chassis is provided by a 12 Volt battery.
